Terminology

There are a lot of terms used in Herpetology, you will quickly get used to them and in this web site I have avoided these where possible.
However here are some of the terms and meanings to give you a head start.

Common usage

Animals

CB    Captive Bred, animals that have been born in captivity.
CF    Captive Farmed, animals that are born as part of a large production.
WC   Wild Caught, animals obtained from the wild.
LTC  Long Term Captive, animals that have been held in captivity for a long period of time.

Sex

1.0.0 = 1 Male
0.1.0 = 1 Female
0.0.1 = 1 Unsexed

Example...

2.5.4 Corn snakes = 2 males, 5 females and 4 unsexed Corn snakes.

PK    Pre killed
FK    Fresh killed
FT    Frozen Thawed
